I have discovered a country where, while many families live in poverty, there is one ruling family that enjoys unimaginable wealth and privilege. This dynasty gained their current privileged position by crimes committed by there ancestors over many centuries. Although the family is not involved in criminal activity nowadays the members behave in a way which by traditional standards would be regarded as immoral. Like many countries in the East the population is so used to the status quo that they accept and support the situation without question and even encourage the gross inequality and privilege of the system. You may expect this country to be in the East but surprisingly it is in Europe.
